Materials Tracking Module -
Inventory Catalog Added The
Inventory Catalog has been added. This allows users to add items
from an existing inventory to the inventory catalog. A new
inventory with a new location code can be created from items in the
inventory catalog. Material Transfer Tickets have been added so items
can be moved from one inventory location to another. Since the new
inventory items will have their own unique tag numbers the common link
is the inventory catalog item.

Inventory Location Code Added
An Inventory Location Code has been added. This allows you to
maintain multiple inventories at one job site. Physical
Inventories, Out of Stock Reports and Inventory Transactions have been
added. Transactions are created when an inventory item is added to
a Purchase Order's line item detail (On Order Quantity goes up), added
to the Receiving Detail of a purchase order (On Order Quantity goes
down, Quantity Available goes up), added to a material issued report
(MIR) or a Repair Order (Quantity Available goes down) and in a Physical
Inventory (Quantity Available is reset). This transaction feature
allows for automated inventory control and automated reordering features
to maintain inventory at desired levels. (Spring, 2009) |

Third Party Repair Orders Added
Third Party Repair Orders allow the user to
create a repair order connected to a customer. The user can then
add the vehicle to the list of customer's vehicles. Also, when a new
repair order is being created the user can go to the list of customer's
vehicles and insert the vehicle information into the repair order.
Repair orders have a labor and materials section. The labor line items
are linked to duplicate line items in the Labor Module. Material
line items can be entered as a unique item or filled from an existing PO
in the Materials Module. Also, a line item in the repair orders
materials list can be selected from the inventory in the Materials
Module.

All Modules - New User
Controls
New user controls are being added to the
forms on a continuing basis. These controls eliminate the need to
bring up sub forms for selecting Company/Job Number Pairs, Range of
Period Endings, and or Date Ranges. Instead of clicking on several
buttons to make your selections for a report or table maintenance form
you will now be able to stay on that form and just click on the new
control. See Update Notes for more information.
